Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators
Professional organization specifically for those individuals writing and illustrating for children and young adults in the fields of children’s literature, magazines, film, television, and multimedia. Offers awards and grants for writers and illustrators, and provides vital market information on the craft and business of writing and selling books for young readers.
South Arts, a nonprofit regional arts organization based in Atlanta, GA, was founded in 1975 to build on the South’s unique heritage and enhance the public value of the arts. South Arts’ work responds to the arts environment and cultural trends with a regional perspective. The organization works in partnership with the nine state arts agencies of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, and is funded by those member states, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), foundations, corporations, and individuals.
United States Artists
United States Artists is a public charity dedicated to investing in America’s finest artists and illuminating their value to society. Through the USA Fellows program, it has put $12.5 million directly in the hands of living artists since 2005. United States Artists has created USA Projects to foster direct connections between artists and the public, catalyze new funding for artists, bring creative projects to life, and build community around the most accomplished artists in America.

VSA: The International Organization on Arts and Disability
VSA, the international organization on arts and disability, was founded more than 35 years ago by Ambassador Jean Kennedy Smith to provide arts and education opportunities for people with disabilities and increase access to the arts for all.
