June 8, 2018 “Smothered In Blue”
“Blue oblivion, largely lit, smiled and smiled at me.”
– William Rose Benet
Blue elicits emotions from serenity to authority. It denotes loyalty and understanding. Blue can be melancholy, depressed, happy, or peaceful.
The color blue means something to us all, as Floridians, we are literally surrounded by it in the bright blue sky and beautiful blue ocean. We use it to decorate our lives and our language.
Take this journey with us, immerse yourself in the shades that envelope our daily lives and show us what “blue” means to you?
