August 9th to October 5th, 2018 “Contrasts”

“Nothing is anything by itself, only in relation to other things.”

            – Robert Levers

Contrast is one of the main principles of art. By definition, it is the opposite. (light vs. dark colors, rough vs. smooth textures, large vs. small shapes, etc.) in a piece so as to create visual interest, excitement, and drama.

Contrast can be used as a tool, directing the viewer’s attention to a particular point of interest within the piece.

We invite you to immerse yourself in the opposites of art and share them with the world through “Contrasts”.
