Pomme by Stephanie Pyren
Stephanie was born in Pennsylvania and raised in California, where she received her BFA from CSUN, now residing in Florida.
She works in all media, Figurative and landscapes. She has exhibited in 44 group and 20 solo exhibitions: nationally and internationally and has a clientele of collectors.
She worked in animation studios in Los Angeles as a character designer and, background painter, toy designer. She left animation and moved to Barbizon, France, to help create the new Barbizon School of Arts, where she painted commercial and private pieces, including portraits, murals, and reproductions of the famous artist. Stephanie has taught life drawing, fashion illustrating, and window display. Has Illustrated 8 children’s books. Currently: illustrator and portrait artist for Read USA, Jeremy’s Journey. She has had several articles written about her, and her art has been displayed in several publications
Artist Statement
My need to create fine art is an omnipresent driving desire. I have always been intrigued by patterns and motion. My work is based on the timeless beauty of nature, its energy, and vibrations, and colors I hope my creations evoke happiness, peace, and the love of nature
This piece is part of the "What's on Your Table?" Exhibition at the Main Library in downtown Jacksonville Fl. from November 28th - January 5th. If you need the piece before the end of the exhibit, please notify us at 904-233-9252, and we will arrange an early pickup. Reception December 7th, 6pm-8pm.
