My Portable View by Ed Malesky
This year my butterfly garden had a real abundance of gorgeous flowers. Yellows, pinks, and white, and the myriad of Zinnia colors all made me smile when I looked out the window into the backyard. I realized I could simulate that colorful abundance by making my own flowers out of paper. I decided to make some realistic and some fanciful designs, but then the question was how to display all that color. It was simple, I’d just build my own window. I could move it anywhere in the house and see the colorful flowers no matter the season.
