Outside Friend is an acrylic painting featuring my sweet dogs Pip and Bella, who are the ones who let in the light! They keep their eyes trained on the front door, greeting—and sometimes barking at—friends and neighbors, the mailman, or whoever should happen by. They consider it their job to keep us informed of anything unusual—or usual, for that matter. Neighbor's cats Foster and Rusty (not pictured), are of particular interest. Though the cats are the ones who really know what's happening in the neighborhood.
