I just can’t get over the idea that we are foolishly wasting our glory that is our planet. I believe it was created as an Eden for all the life on the earth, a natural balance. Humankind, especially since the Industrial Revolution, has utilized our planet to achieve personal desires and disrupted this balance.
I attended the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and have had a firm commitment to do what I can to regain this balance.
Books like “Six Degrees: Our Future on a Hotter Planet” or “The Heat Will Kill You First” by Jeff Goodell will make it clear that we will see Eden erode to a dead planet if we don’t do something.
