Cobalt Blue
Cobalt Blue by artist Earl Coggins comes with an ecosystem of striking blues contrasted with turquoise, ochre, and conspicuous red hues. Shards of white light invade an otherwise bluesy, nocturnal setting sometimes described as an out-of-focus bustle of city lights but often viewed as a watery, Tolkien night, with the sunken, tired eyes of Gollum ever searching for his precious ring.
This piece is part of Earl's Featured Artist Exhibit, "On the Fringe: Abstract Realities." The exhibit runs from Oct 15th - Nov 26th, 2022. Pieces bought online can be picked up at the end of the exhibit. There will be an opening Reception on Sunday, Oct 23, 2022, 2pm-4pm.
