Bubbles for the Ukraine
Bubbles Series for Ukraine by Lara G
Lara, age 11, has been painting since age 2. She has wielded her artist brush by taking a multitude of art classes locally. Having a passion for creative arts, she is schooled in acting, painting, dance and voice.
Lara is particularly interested in raising funds for Ukrainian children because her family originated from Western Ukraine. She says, “This is my way of bringing happiness to the kids and helping them escape the dangers in their country.”
Lara painted Bubbles and Tiny Bubbles.
Two collections that represent childlike wonder and hope. “Bubbles are mirrors into your inner self, floating upwards,” says Lara.

About the Artist:
Lara
Lara has been dabbling in the art of painting since she was two years old. Just learning to talk, she told visitors she had painted a present for them. Most visitors took home a token of her art. Nine years later, she is painting for fundraising and pleasure.
Lara’s paper mâché Best Friends represents her favorite summer pastime, hanging with her best friends. Last Summer’s Rodeo is an art foil inspired by Lara’s very first rodeo last summer. Her strongest memory is of a little boy roping a small calf. Under the Pond is a piece made out of a recycled cigar box. She created it on a whim. “Summer reminds me of fishing with my grandfather and the most beautiful fish I’ve ever seen are koi,” Lara said.
“My paintings represent childlike wonder. They bring out the inner child in us all,” she explains. After a hard tiring day at school, you can find her at her art desk painting to relax.
