Rules for all Call to Artists Exhibitions

Call to Artists

  • .Visual artists are welcome to submit their work for our jury exhibitions. 
  • Please fill out the submission form next to the call.
  • Be sure to read the jury show details carefully before submitting your images, application, and fee.  Online Submission to [email protected]

Exhibition Insurance

Insurance is the responsibility of the artist.  The Art Center does not accept the responsibility of theft, vandalism or damage caused by gallery patrons or staff during transfer for any reason including the mishandeling by carrier or failure of packaging to protect works in transit. Also not coverd is damage caused to work by a failure of the work itself or its mounting systems installed by the artist.

Juried Exhibition Information
​Please follow these rules or your work may be disqualified. 

  • Artwork submitted must be original work by the artist.  Mass-produced objects or craft kits are not accepted.
  • 2D works must be properly framed or gallery-wrapped canvases, no staples on the sides, with all sides painted.
  • All 2D work MUST be properly wired for hanging - preferably D-ring and wire (place 1/3 down on the sides with 1" from top of the piece).  Works with sawtooth hangers on frames and canvases will NOT be accepted.
  • 2D size must adhere to individual call sheet.
  • 3D works should be free-standing or able to fit on a gallery pedestal.
  • Special Installations must be provided by the artist and approved by the Art Center.
  • Artists 18 years and older residing in the United States are eligible to enter.  Cash awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place are given based on the number of entries received.  ​
Commissions: 
  • All work must be for sale.  The Art Center will take a 40% commission on all work sold by non-members.  Commission on works sold by members will be according to artist agreements per member status.  (This does not include the Kid's Show)

Theme: Masks are used for protection, disguises, rituals and entertainment. In 7000 B.C. masks were used to communicate messages and have been found and used in cultures and countries through out the world. For this exhibit we are looking for full face masks, fun, funny, furry and even a bit scary or perhaps you have a message to convey. Three dimensional work is encouraged for this exhibition.

Juror: Larry Wilson, nationally recognized sculptor, painter has shown work in museums throughout the United States. Permanent installations Art In Public Places.
