No bridges over troubled waters here on the St. Johns River. Four options (and your images must include one of these bridges )the Dames Point Bridge (Napoleon Bonaparte Broward Bridge), The Hart (Isaiah Hart Bridge), Main Street (John T. Alsop, Jr. Bridge) and the Matthews Bridge (John E. Mathew Bridge). Delight yourself by exploring the magic of the St. John’s, it mystery and the history of our four colorful bridges. Surprise us with your images of the bountiful offerings of birds, wildlife, boating life, fishing and our unequaled sunsets. |

About the Show
Juror: Kevin Arthur is a native of New Washington, Indiana and has lived in Jacksonville since 1980. “I am a self-taught artist with a lifelong fascination with art, particularly the human form and portraiture. I also enjoy plein air and still life work too. I belong to several drawing groups within the area. I've studied with several local artist as well as national known artists, such as Kevin Beilfuss, Romel de la Torre, Kerry Dunn, Carolyn Anderson and Robert Liberace. I have shown in The Southlight Gallery, CORK, The Space Gallery, Gallery 1037, The Home Studio Gallery, The Silver Cow Gallery, Raindogs in Jacksonville and was a finalist in The Artfields art competition in South Carolina. I am a teacher with The Art League of Jacksonville and taught at The Cultural Center of Ponte Vedra and The University of North Florida. I facilitated several figure and plein air groups in Florida and Indiana. I work in charcoal, graphite, pastel, watercolor, oil and acrylics.”
