Cyndy Reynolds Bio
Cyndy Ira Reynolds discovered her love of pottery two decades ago while looking for a balance to the daily demands of her career in the hotel business. She began throwing at a studio outside of Milwaukee where she became proficient on the wheel creating dinnerware sets, serving platters, and too many bowls to count. After retiring and moving home to Jacksonville, Florida, Cyndy set up in her father’s ‘shop’ and established her new venture, CIRAMA Pottery and More www.facebook.com/cirama and https://www.instagram.com/ciramapottery.
Given her gardening passion and Master Gardener status in both Wisconsin and Florida, Cyndy’s work, not surprisingly, has been flora and fauna inspired and is driven by intriguing textures, colors, and shapes. An enthusiast of both wheel and slab creation, she uses primarily mid-range clays and glazes.
Cyndy has successfully marketed her functional and whimsical work at local and regional art and garden events. Her most recent work can be seen at The Art Cooperative of Jacksonville where she showcases a broad range of her work. Cyndy is a member of The Art Cooperative of Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Artists Guild.
