About the Artist:
Andriyesh Bukov grew up and attended school in Chișinău, Moldova.  Moldova is nestled between Ukraine and Romania.   He now calls Jacksonville, Florida, his home. Andriyesh paints in acrylics and oils.  He also paints both realistic and abstract images.  Many of his paintings depict his native Moldavian culture.  Many of his paintings are influenced by his love of poetry.  Please read one of his selected writings:

“and off, off, and away.
It's a sad day.
The full moon
Up in the sky
Disturbing everyone but not me...
I'm being exposed at the moment.
The passions of the subconscious mind,
Why tell me to
Is God about this?
Turn the pages of existence!
Floating in the subconscious mind
Other countries and times.
Along the Moon Strip
Off to the road,
What's going to happen, and where?!
and a big distance, and afar
I’ll hit the road,,,,”
