About the Artist:

Valentina Nedelcheva is a member of the Art Center Cooperative, Jacksonville, Fl, and a member of the Jacksonville Artists’ Guild, Florida. Valentina was born and raised in Bulgaria, Eastern Europe. She graduated from Kyiv University of Cultural and Arts.

Valentina is a painter who works primarily with oil on canvas. She uses unique techniques, such as finger. and knife painting; she works directly on the canvas without preliminary sketches or compositions. Nature, flowers, and people inspire her paintings.  They are bright paintings in the style of impressionism.

“I always strive for beauty.  For me, the creative process is self-forgetfulness and self-surrender, a game with colors in which time dissolves.  I feel the symbiosis between the artist and God, His love and creativity are the key components of my inner world.

Valentina has had five solo exhibitions in Jacksonville, FL. And two in Sofia, Bulgaria, and participated in over twenty-five public exhibitions in Bulgaria and America.
