What Cookie says about this piece, "Several years ago I was at funeral on a farm, a sad affair and so I went for a walk out into the fields.
The harvest had long been over but clinging to the vine was one last okra pod dying and reseeding and on the same vine a promise of things to come — a flowering okra blossom."
