Upon finishing “The Pirate,” I posted on Facebook to a women’s art group. The last comment was, “why don’t you draw something more meaningful, like honeybees or something. “I researched the honeybee and found that Morgan Freeman is an advocate for Honeybee Conservation. He owns over 25B houses, and he has become a beekeeper. Morgan Freeman says he resonates with the bees. Therefore, he doesn’t wear a protective suit against bee stings. I found that fascinating. Ink on paper illustration.
