The Golden Hour
In communities located on the Gulf Coast of Florida, the daily gathering of residents to witness the sunset is a long-held tradition. This image captures just such a moment as couples and families congregate on the pier, a fisherman reels in his line, and a solitary teenage boy carrying his boogie board emerges from the water. There is a bittersweet quality to the setting and the fading light cast by the setting sun in its “golden hour.”
