This fun piece is created from hollow "Lentils" made from local hardwoods. Texture is then added using an acrylic medium and then painted with acrylic paint. The diminishing diameters makes the piece flow upwards and while the piece looks heavy, the upward flow and hollowing deceives the viewer because if is really quite light.
