You know you are sailing on the St Johns River when you see the iconic Maxwell House Cup, large as life with glowing letters shining every evening like a lighthouse bringing ships into port. I chose to create a morning vista when the light shines on the city and gives it a golden wash. The colors are wonderful, and there's no better time to enjoy a cup of maxwell house coffee than sailing along the St. Johns.
This piece is part of the "Sailing Along the St Johns" Art Exhibition. The Exhibit runs from August 7th - September 30th, 2023. You are invited to visit from 12-5 Mon-Sat or accept an invitation to our opening reception on August 13th, 2023 from 2-4pm. There will be an awards ceremony, food, drink, and an opportunity to speak to the artists.
