As a frequent morning beach walker, I have always been impressed with the architecture and scale of our pier. Watching the people standing nearby and children playing around the pilings magnifies the sheer mass and overwhelming size. I tried to capture this along with the contrast in the brightness of the beach and the shadows of the structure.
