Springfield is a magnificent example of the historic section of Jacksonville. It's spacious homes and broad streets invoke a time when this area was the symbol of power and grace in Jacksonville. Henry Klutho, an American architect known for his “Prairie School” styled designed this building after the Jacksonville, Florida - Great Fire of 1901. The balconies and entranceway are an impressive example of his work.
