Starburst by Ed Malesky
The sun is all it's glory makes a definitive statement at the beginning of each new day. This piece represents the blazing sun and is created out of wood and then painted. The fluting on the disk represents the sun's rays was painted with many kinds of paint to give a shimmer and shine. The sun itself was "flow painted" to give the appearance of the roiling energy that is the basis of its warming power.
This piece is part of the New Beginnings Exhibition.

- Join us for the Reception on Sunday - Jan 21st from 2-4 PM
- ART PICKUP: We ask that you leave the work in the exhibition until the end of show. Pick up after Mar 9th. You may buy your pieces online. To collect your purchased artwork, please come to the Art Center Cooperative, Inc after the exhibition ends, Tue-Fri Noon-5 pm and Sat 11-3 pm
