One recalls a brisk northern day when you can breathe cool, fresh air. The aromas of pine rejuvenate one’s soul. The abstract patterns mark movement caused by the wind blowing. According to ancient China, they symbolize withstanding a testament of time. Many of one’s paintings are symbolic and represent allegories. I am intrigued by the patterns and movements in nature. The painting is influenced by Chinese art but, also a prominent style in which I create my own meanings when painting.
