I intend to tell the story of two men who traveled on a long journey, but only one returned home. The mysterious disappearance of what happened during the trip is left up to the viewer's imagination. The painting exemplifies the allegories I engage in when creating artwork. There is always a deeper underlying meaning in my artwork. Influenced by ancient Chinese painting. The opportunity to paint patterns is interpreted through one's perspective and approach to creating patterns.
