The mysterious nature of ancient Chinese art is always a prominent force in creating one’s paintings. Attracted to liner lines expressing patterns of movement, distinct colors, and especially philosophy, symbolism, and allegories. This coincides with my approach in painting and drawing. Nature is a repetitive theme in my artwork. In China “Bluebirds” symbolizes transformation and infinite possibilities. This is an appropriate subject to paint and allows for a personal interpretation.
