This scene was in a cove along one of the waterways at the magical Okefenokee Swamp. The waters there were so dark and mysterious, and there were so many wonderful reflections in the water that it was an irresistible subject to me. The atmosphere and quiet surroundings suggested “peace” hence the title “In Peace.”
