The bright blue sky and the white trunks of the trees stretching for the sky are sometimes intertwined to support each other. Some of them seem playful, almost dancing. The incredible sunset colors create a super contrast with the trees and sky. The warmth of the sky and the complementary colors create a lively contrast. It is mixed media because I used acrylics, colored pencils, and graphite.
I had previously done a much smaller version similar to this. I loved the exciting look it presented. So, I decided this fit the theme of "Patterns" and created this larger piece.
