Our iconic skyline is especially dramatic at night. My reference was from taking a night cruise on a taxi itself. This view from the Southbank has become our city's signature with its different color bridges and distinctive office shapes and patterns. When driving back into Jacksonville after being away, that view says we are home. For many years, my office in Jacksonville was on the 15th floor of the pyramid-topped Barnett Bank tower (later Bank of America) with a magnificent bird’s eye view of the Main Street Bridge and our precious and glorious St. Johns River.
