In the style of Elizabeth Catlett (1919 – 2012) – Known internationally as a printmaker and a sculptor Catlett’s work focuses primarily on women Her works are featured in the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the New Orleans Museum of Art, as well as many prominent private collections. Catlett, lectured frequently on human rights and was an outspoken critic of the status of African Americans and Mexicans in the United States. (Voices of the Dream-African-American Women Speak)
Exhibition Details: This is part of the TAC Gallery "In the Style of..." Exhibition.
EXHIBITION DATES: MARCH 11 THRU MAY 11, 2024. Reception on March 24th, 2024, from 2-4pm. Pieces can be purchased online. We ask that the artwork stay at the gallery until the end of the exhibition before you pick it up. If you need the piece prior to the exhibition end date.
