William Garcia's Artist Statement
When I begin to paint, I think of my future and of the new path that I am about to embark on. My imagination leads the way. Plastic forms in the paintings twist and intertwine, creating new shapes and moments. These forms I have created in my paintings do not exist in reality; they provoke within me internal dialogue between what is and what will be. To give form to an image is to attempt to manifest it.
